Honeymoon!!

Well, we just got back from our honeymoon, and we had a blast. We went on a cruise to Ensenada, Mexico and Catalina Island. The food was outstanding, the entertainment was pretty good, and the sight seeing was amazing!! And also, the shopping in Ensenada was the best. I was in Heaven because I could pretty much name my price. Riley enjoyed our break from school and work, and really enjoyed our time together as a married couple!! Here are some pictures from our Honeymoon.

There was only coke products on the Ship, but don't worry, Riley found him a Pepsi!!

Temple, Bridal Shower, and a Wedding (not ours yet)!!

Well, alot has been happening lately, and I've been slow to blog about it!! So I guess I'll just start from the begginning. On Friday, Feb. 27, I had the opportunity to go to the Manti Temple with Riley, my family, Riley's family, and some really close friends. The reason we went to the temple was so I could get my endowments so that Riley and I can be sealed next week!! It was an awesome experience, and I'm so glad that I got to share it with everyone that I love!!

Then, on the next day, Saturday, My mom, Aunt Steph, and Sister Callie threw me an awesome Bridal Shower!! The shower was an open house, and surprisingly, alot of people showed up. It was fun to see old friends that I haven't seen for awhile, and it was also fun to meet some of the cousins and friends from Riley's side of the family. I got lots of cool stuff that I'll definately be using!! Also, I want to publicly thank my mom, Aunt Steph, and especially my little sis Callie!! They all put alot of effort into making my shower amazing, and I am so greatful for them doing that!! (I can't wait to return the favor for my little sis someday!!)

Well, after we recouperated from that busy weekend, we decided to head down to California this weekend for Riley's Mission Buddy Andy's wedding. After work on Thurday, we started our drive, and it surprisingly wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. We got there late, but we did get to talk to Andy and (his fiance at the time) Nikki for a while. Then, on Friday, Riley and I didn't have much to do, so we decided to go to the LA Temple so I could do a session with a video. The Temple was so beautiful, and I really enjoyed going back for a second time. Later that night, Andy's family was hosting a dinner celebration for the wedding at 6:30, so we had to be back to go to that. It had taken us about an hour to get to the temple from Andy's house that morning, so we thought that if we left by 3:00 we would have plenty of time to get back!! Boy were we wrong. It took us 3 and 1/2 hours to get back to Andy's dinner. The traffic was horrible, and it reminded me why I never want to live in a city. Luckily we still made it to dinner on time, and we were able to eat an amazing meal at a restaurant called Castaway. The restaurant was really fancy, so I felt pretty important eating there - ha ha!!

The next day was Andy and Nikki's wedding, so we got up early to go to thier sealing at the Redlands California Temple. It was a beautiful cerimony, and it made us even more excited for our wedding a week from that day. After the cerimony, we went to a really fancy country club for their ring cerimony, another dinner, and a way fun reception/dance party. This blog is too long or I'd tell you more about it. Just know that it was a beautiful reception, and the dinner was delicious! Riley and I are so happy for Andy and Nikki, and wish them the best of luck!!

The trip was awesome, we had a good time, and can't wait for our wedding now.

Here is Riley with Andy (the groom), Greg, and Wes. They all served in the Minnesota Mission, and were great buddies.
