1 YEAR!!

I can't believe how fast a year can go by when you spend it married to the most amazing man in the world. Last Sunday, the 14th, Riley and I celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary. We didn't go anywhere special because we have a cruise booked in May, but we did spend the weekend together. Riley got me a very very cute puppy (pictures will come soon) named Jaci Jo. I got Riley a spot at a Team Roping School that will be later this month. I left a sappy post about Riley last time so i won't do it again, but I am so lucky to have Riley in my life and I'm so greatful that we are sealed for eternity!!

Well, today is Riley's 24th birthday so I thought I would write 24 things that I love about him. (they are not in any particular order)

I love..........
  1. His laugh - I could be in the worst mood ever, but when I hear him laugh it makes me smile.
  2. His good looks - I lucked out and got a hot husband.
  3. He is competitive and very athletic.
  4. He is tall and has to bend down to kiss me.
  5. He is very sweet.
  6. His work ethic - he works very hard and is a great provider.
  7. His sense of humor.
  8. He is really good at roping and I love that we have a hobby to share together.
  9. Whenever he wants to accomplish something he doesn't quit until he has it done.
  10. He does the dishes (sometimes).
  11. He offers to do the laundry sometimes.
  12. He comes from a great family - I love his family and love being with them.
  13. He gave me two (soon to be four) very cute nephews when I married him.
  14. He always compliments me and tells me I look good.
  15. He takes me on a date at least once a week.
  16. He is a priesthood holder.
  17. He is active in the church and has a testimony.
  18. He likes to be with my family (even though us Croppers are a little crazy).
  19. He supports my hobbies (rodeo, scrapbooking, and shopping)
  20. He likes how I decorate the house and always compliments me on it.
  21. He notices when I buy something new and doesn't ask me how much it cost.
  22. He supports me in my career (even when I come home ornery and want to kill all my students)
  23. He compliments my cooking
  24. He is an AWESOME husband and I don't know what I'd do without him.

Thanksgiving/Tubing

While the girls were inside Scrapbooking after thanksgiving dinner, the boys were outside Roping.

On Thanksgiving day we went to get our Christmas trees. Riley took over the Chain Saw and this is him cutting it down.
My family also decided to get some Holiday Pictures. I thought they turned out cute!!
We went up Cedar Canyon with our friends Bode and Taryn to go Tubing!! We had a blast!!

Pumkin Carving

Riley and I went over to our friends Taryn and Bode's new house the other day to carve pumpkins. Our other friends Cody and Suzie came as well, but they declined to have their picture taken. Here are the pics from our fun night.

The Past

Right now I'm sitting at my Parent's home, and while I've been here I've realized how much I miss my old Rodeo Days!! My mom and I would load up every weekend to hit at least two Rodeos a weekend when I was in High School. We had a blast, and because of our experiences Rodeoing, my mom and I are best friends. We have so many inside jokes, and so many wonderful memories. My dream was to become a State Champion in the Breakaway. I never accomplished that dream, but I made some of the best friends a girl could ask for, and walked away with life long lessons. I also had/have the best horse in the world. My horse was awesome. I never got outran by calves, and I always had an awesome shot. My horse Ross is still alive, but like me, he is getting old and crippled. I've got a new horse Sage, but it will never be the same. Riley has now started Roping, so hopefully when we are done with school and have more money, we can travel down the Rodeo Road again. Sorry if I've bored everyone with my trip down memory lane, but I wanted to blog about my past life!! Here are some old pics.

Camping

This past weekend, our friends Adam and Lisa invited us to go camping with them, so we thought that would be the perfect way to get away from all our stresses. We ended up camping right by Navajo Lake up Cedar Canyon and it was a blast. We went fishing, hiking, and made yummy tin foil dinners.

Pictures

I'm really behind on my blogging so I'll just let the pictures tell you what we've been up to!!

I have 2 loves in my life - Riley and Kenny - I finally got to see Kenny in concert. Even though is was fun to see him live, the trashy people that go to those things will prevent me from ever going again.

We sure do love riding on big Mable!

My old roommate Katie got married in the Salt Lake Temple. It was a beautiful day and Katie looked gorgeous. Sadly, we were only able to go to the wedding ceremony, but I'm sure the luncheon and reception was just as awesome as the wedding!!

Here is the happy couple - Katie and Jared!!

My brother Zach and Riley have been roping together lately, so they decided to enter the Piute County Fair Rodeo. They did awesome for their first rodeo.

Here they are roping (sorry its not the best picture)

Dirty Boys!! This pic was taken the other day after they got home from scouting deer.
