Would you like a house with that garage!!

Here is our house so far. It changes everyday so hopefully I can keep up. This is Riley's garage - yes I know it is huge, but that's what he wanted!! It will be the only room he has all to hisself so I wanted it too.
I love that SOLD sign in the front!!

Here is part of our kitchen and the hallway leading to the bedrooms.

Here is our back patio. I have a feeling this may be my favorite spot to work.

And here is another view from the front. We are so excited for our house and can't wait for it to be finished.

Another Dog... Are we crazy?

We still have our cute little dog Jaci Jo, but Riley decided that she needed a friend - to be more specific she needed a boyfriend. So we got a new puppy named Tuff!! He is the same kind of dog as Jaci and he is just as cute as her. And yes, we are crazy but we kind of like our little dogs.

Jaci naps right by my chair while I'm working!

Tuff naps right between my feet while I'm working!

I think they like each other!
Okay maybe not!!

More Big News

In my previous post I announced that we are moving to LOGAN. When we first decided that we were going to Logan we thought we would just rent a nice house or duplex for the 3 years that we are up there. Well about a month ago we made a trip to Logan to see if we could find a place to rent. The harder we looked the more stressed out I became because the houses/duplexes/town homes were either way too expensive or way to crappy of a place to live.

Long story short we ended up finding a place where we could build a home and our mortgage would be cheaper than renting a place. What a deal huh!! We aren't building our dream home or anything like that, but we are building a pretty nice place. (If you want to see our house plans click here). We are building in a little subdivision called Ashbury Court. We are super duper excited and can't wait for our home to be completed. (We start building Aug. 13 and it should be done no later than 3 months from that date). Anyways that is our other big news!!

Big News!!

We have been waiting till it is official before we announced some big news!! Well, its finally official so we can FINALLY announce it!!
  1. I received my DREAM job working as an ONLINE Math teacher. I know it sounds weird, but I think it will be great. I'll be teaching from home everyday (WAHOO). Another great thing about this job is that the company K12 (Utah Virtual Academy) is a charter school, so that means that I will receive the same BENEFITS, PAY, and RETIREMENT as a normal public school all from the comfort of my own home. Riley and I feel very lucky that I received this AWESOME job.
  2. The next big news is that Riley decided to go back to school, which means that we'll be moving to LOGAN in the fall. Riley is going to be in the Range Management Program at Utah State University. He has about 3 years until he is finished. And before anyone tells us how cold we are going to be up there, I want you to know that we are well aware of that. We are way EXCITED for our new adventure and welcome the colder climate (It can't be any worse than Cedar City right)!
Well, that's all for our big news. We are way excited for all of our new changes!! Sorry there are no pictures - but we are pretty boring to look at anyways!!

Horse Ride

A couple days ago, my grandpa, mom, cousin, Riley, and me went on a big horse ride up Monroe Mountain. My mom took her camera and got some really good pictures of everyone. We had my grandma come up for the first part so my mom could get some pics of my grandparents together. It was a perfect day and I loved how the pics turned out.

My grandpa and his old stud LeRoy!!

My cute grandparents.

Spoiled Rotten!!!!!!

Riley is SPOILED ROTTEN!! He has been wanting/needing a new saddle, so I finally broke down and let him get one. But Riley didn't want just any saddle, he wanted the fanciest one out there. This saddle comes loaded with an elephant hide seat, fully tooled leather, and extra long fenders for his extra long legs. It cost a pretty penny, but seeing Riley's face light up like it was Christmas morning was worth it!! I made him pose for some pictures with his saddle because its not going to look that new in a few weeks.

Jakey is a graduate!!

Jake and me at his Junior Prom.
Jake with his proud sisters
All of us Cropper kids!! (I need to dye my hair back so I look like I fit in again)
Jake getting his diploma.
Jake doing what he does best - catching!!

I can't believe it but my super talented youngest brother graduated from Richfield High School a few weeks ago. I remember the day he came home from the hospital and now he's a graduate. Jakey is super talented and is an amazing baseball player (among other things). He just got named to the 3A 1st Team Allstate. I'm so proud of him and can't wait to see what other amazing things he accomplishes in the future!! I love you Jake and I'm lucky to be your big Sister.
